How to Find an Airbnb near Jamsil Station: NAVER Map and Exit Guide

QUICK ANSWER

Ask your host for the Korean road-name address, building name, nearest Jamsil Station exit and a NAVER Map link. Jamsil Station connects Subway Lines 2 and 8 and is attached to a very large Lotte complex, so an accommodation described as “near Jamsil” may still require a long walk.

First confirm which Jamsil area you need

Seokchon LakeEast or west side of the lake
JamsilsaenaeA separate Line 2 station west of Jamsil

Information to request from your host

  • Direct NAVER Map destination link
  • Photo of the correct entrance or security gate
  • Whether a taxi can stop at that entrance

How to check the route in NAVER Map

  1. Paste the Korean address, not only the English listing name.
  2. Check whether Jamsil, Seokchon, Songpanaru or Jamsilsaenae is actually closest.
  3. Set the subway station as your starting point.
  4. Compare the exit number, street crossings and final walking distance.
  5. Save the map pin and entrance photo before traveling.

Luggage and late-arrival tips

  • The underground Lotte complex is large; allow extra time to find the correct street exit.
  • Choose an elevator route rather than the shortest stair route with heavy luggage.
  • For apartment complexes, confirm the correct vehicle gate before taking a taxi.
  • Save the address and check-in instructions offline in case mobile data is unavailable.
Common mistake: Jamsil Station, Jamsilsaenae Station and Sports Complex Station are different places. Do not choose a station only because “Jamsil” appears in the English listing.

If the address does not appear

  • Remove the room number and search the road-name address.
  • Search the Korean building or apartment name.
  • Ask the host to share the NAVER Map place directly.
  • Confirm any mismatch between the map pin and written address.
