Where to Store Luggage in Seoul: Subway Lockers, Hotels and Delivery Services

Arriving before hotel check-in—or leaving Seoul after checkout—does not mean you have to carry your suitcase all day. Seoul offers staffed storage counters, unmanned subway lockers, hotel storage and same-day luggage delivery.

For a few hours, use a subway locker or ask your hotel. For a large suitcase, multiple bags or same-day delivery, a staffed T-Luggage counter is often easier. Availability, prices and operating hours can change, so check the service on the day you travel.

1. Ask Your Hotel First

Many hotels will hold luggage for registered guests before check-in and after checkout. Contact the hotel in advance if you are arriving very early, collecting bags late at night or staying in a guesthouse without a 24-hour front desk. Do not assume that valuables, food or oversized sports equipment will be accepted.

2. Use Seoul Subway Lockers

Many subway stations have hourly lockers in several sizes. Look for signs saying 물품보관함 (mulpum bogwanham, luggage locker). Payment methods and interfaces vary. Large lockers fill first at busy stations, especially on weekends, so arrive early and keep a photo of the locker number and collection instructions.

Seoul also operates T-Locker services. The official Seoul guide describes mobile search, reservation and payment functions, but travelers should confirm current app compatibility and payment options before relying on them.

3. Use a T-Luggage Counter

T-Luggage offers staffed storage and selected same-day delivery services. Seoul’s official information currently lists service points at Seoul Station, Hongik University Station, Myeong-dong Station, Gimpo International Airport Station, Jongno 3-ga Station, Jamsil Station and Suseo Station.

This can be useful when an unmanned locker is too small, you have several bags or you want your luggage moved instead of stored. Delivery destinations, cutoff times and service areas can differ, so confirm them when booking.

4. Private Storage Services

Private luggage-storage businesses are common around Myeongdong, Hongdae, Seoul Station and major attractions. Before paying, check the closing time, insurance terms, maximum bag size and whether late collection is possible. Use a staffed location for passports, electronics or other valuable belongings whenever possible.
